Simon Bates Meeting - Minutes 1

It has been organised that Simon Bates, the head of learning and access at the Junction, is to come to Long Road each Tuesday to have a meeting with us about the progress of the commission that we are doing for them.
In our first meeting, Simon came to introduce us to the project and what he wanted us to do for it and get from it. He explain what it all entailed, for example; what the Fiver is, what content from that he wanted in the promo, how he wanted the promo to look like. He also told us about what he wanted from the documentary, how he wanted it to be orientated around the educational part of the project and who was involved.
Simon was quite vague with what he wanted but he laid down the important grounds for the promo and the documentary and then he told us to then think about adding the "wow factor".

After he has explained what he wanted, he then asked us if we had any questions and if we had already had any ideas. We didn't put anything forward to him at this point but I think there were a few questions to the shoot, where we can shoot in the Junction, who we can shoot and so on.
